Clocknico (“we”, “us”) is a time-tracking and project management service operated by ALFICOM. This policy explains what data we collect when you use clocknico.com and the Clocknico app at app.clocknico.com, and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password (stored hashed), or your Google account ID, name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Workspace data: the content your team enters — clients, projects, tasks, time entries, rates and settings.
- Billing data: name, billing address, email and order details when you buy a plan. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and log data needed to run the service securely.
How we use it
- To provide the service, sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To process purchases, activate your plan and send invoices and service emails.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. Data you receive through Google sign-in is used only to identify you and sign you in.
Where your data is stored
Every Clocknico workspace has its own separate database on our servers. Data is transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that are necessary to run the service — PayPal for payments and Google for sign-in — or when required by law.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your personal data or your whole workspace. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.
